Abortion
This is a medical or surgical procedure, and with any such procedure, there are risks. You have the right to know all of the risks and the possible consequences.
We are here to help you find the information you need to make your choice. No one can force you to have an abortion. While the opinions of others matter, ultimately this is your decision and you will be the one dealing with the possible risks and consequences. You have the right to be well informed.
Adoption
Sometimes life's circumstances mean that you can't currently care for your baby. Adoption is an option that can benefit many people. We can help you gather the information you need to be informed about the types of adoptions available and help you make an adoption plan. There are a few things to consider:
Will this be an open or closed adoption?
Will you choose private adoption or go through an agency?
You can be as involved in the process as you like.
Adoption might be a good option if:
You are sure you can't raise a child but do not wish to have an abortion
You wish to provide your child with a 2 parent family
You wish to provide your child with a more stable environment than you feel you would be able to offer.
Many adoptions these days even allow the birth mother to be a part of the child's life.
Parenting
For all of its challenges, parenting has been described as one of the most rewarding things in life. What a joy to watch your baby grow into a unique person with his or her own special gifts, talents, and personality. We can offer you tools to help educate you on a wide variety of parenting skills as well as enroll you in our Earn While You Learn Program. You learn, through a series of lessons and sessions with a volunteer counselor, to love and provide for your child and help your family grow to be healthier and happier.
Even if others are pressuring you, remember: You have the right to choose to parent your child.
